Prof. Liming Zhou

Biography:

Liming Zhou, born in 1982, is a professor of "Tang Aoqing Scholar" of Jilin University, and a doctoral supervisor. He is mainly engaged in the research of computational solid mechanics, and has proposed the force-thermal-electric-magnetic multi-physics field coupling smooth finite element method, which solves the problem of low accuracy of finite element solution of magneto-electro-elastic composites. He has independently developed various types of smooth finite element solution programs based on MATLAB platform, which have been recognized by his peers. He is also engaged in the research of micro-nano mechanical mechanics and multi-scale composite materials, mechanical testing and computational methods of mechanical structures. Currently, he is a member of the Mechanics Teaching Committee of China Association for Mechanical Industry Education. He was awarded the first prize of free design and the bronze prize of business roadshow (ranked 2nd) in the National Higher Education Teachers' Homemade Experimental Teaching Instrumentation and Equipment Innovation Competition, and he has presided over one top-level project of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, and six various national projects, provincial and ministerial level projects and enterprise projects. Since 2019, he has been published as the first or corresponding author in Computer Methods in Applied Mechanics and Engineering (CAS Region 1), Composite Structures (CAS Region 1), Chinese Journal of Aeronautics (CAS 2), Applied Mathematical Modelling (CAS 1), Journal of Alloys and Compounds (CAS 2), Hydrometallurgy (CAS 2), Engineering Analysis with Boundary Elements, Journal of Intelligent Material Systems and Structures, Engineering Failure Analysis, Philosophical Magazine, Acta Mechanica, International Journal of Computational Methods, Acta Metallurgica Sinica (English Letters) and other journals, published more than 30 SCI papers, including 3 highly cited papers, 34 EI papers; was awarded 1 patent for invention, 1 utility model patent, 20 software copyrights. He has been awarded 1 patent for invention, 1 patent for utility model, and 20 software copyrights.
