Introduction:
SMAE was founded in 2018, based on the former College of Mechanical Science and Engineering, whose history dates back to 1955. We maintain a free and vibrant academic culture and aspire to contribute to innovation that benefits mechanical industry, society and the world through research and education. After 65 years’ development, we are widely recognized as the base for high-level professional training and technological innovations in the equipment manufacturing industry, with nearly 1800 undergraduate students and more than 900 postgraduate students studying here. Currently, there are 5 undergraduate degree programs, 6 doctoral programs, all of which accept international students. Besides, there are 2 post-doctoral workstations in Mechanical Engineering and Mechanics.
